Robin Ellis is an orthopedic and pelvic floor specialist at the Atlanta office. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Auburn University before completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of South Alabama. After graduation, Robin moved to Atlanta, where she pursued advanced training through a residency in orthopedic physical therapy. She went on to obtain board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, a distinction that recognizes her expertise and dedication to evidence-based care.
During her early career, Robin expanded her practice to include pelvic floor rehabilitation, recognizing the essential role the pelvic floor plays in overall health and function. She also became certified in trigger point dry needling, further enhancing her ability to address complex pain conditions. Over the years, Robin has developed a special interest in treating pelvic pain, urinary and bowel dysfunction, postpartum recovery, and a wide range of orthopedic conditions. She is passionate about helping patients navigate challenging cases, often serving as a "detective" when others have struggled to find solutions.
What makes Robin unique as a therapist is her ability to see the bigger picture. She combines her orthopedic expertise with pelvic health specialization to provide comprehensive, individualized care. Her approach is rooted in curiosity, problem-solving, and compassion, which allows her to meet patients where they are and guide them toward lasting improvements in their health and quality of life. She finds fulfillment in treating patients of all genders across the lifespan and believes deeply in the power of physical therapy to promote healing, confidence, and resilience.
Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Robin now lives in Atlanta with her husband, a civil engineer, and their two beloved cats. A self-proclaimed "cat person," she enjoys their constant companionship. Outside of work, Robin loves staying active through Pilates, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She also figure skates competitively with other adults, finding joy and challenge in the sport. Whether in the clinic or on the ice, Robin brings energy, dedication, and passion to everything she does.
