Morgan joined Set’s passionate team in July 2020. Having experienced one-on-one treatment sessions as a patient herself, she believes this model best provides patients with the attentive care they need. To Morgan, physical therapy is a partnership between the therapist and patient, where the patient’s input and concerns are crucial to designing their individualized treatment plan. Above all else, Morgan values trust and communication with her patients – what is brought up in a casual conversation during a session can provide key information to recovery, as pain can have many layers.

Morgan’s unique experiences have molded her into the therapist she is today. In college, she worked as a nursing assistant for children with severe neurological conditions, where she learned the value of hands-on care and developed her easygoing and empathetic demeanor. After hearing her patients’ stories and goals, Morgan found herself wanting to do more to help them, so she pursued a career in physical therapy.

At the start of her PT career, Morgan worked in sports rehab treating overhead athletes, runners, and weightlifters. She now primarily treats patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD) as well as forms of dysautonomia including Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Long-COVID. Morgan also enjoys treating individuals with neurological conditions to prevent falls and improve their quality of movement through gait, balance, and strength training.

In her sessions, Morgan generally implements manual therapy techniques, postural re-education, muscle energy techniques (MET), and strength training. She is trained in Trigger Point Dry Needling, dry cupping, taping, Fascial Counterstrain (FCS), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), and the Integral Movement Method (IMM). Morgan has taken countless courses through The Ehlers-Danlos Society and regularly attends EDS, HSD, and dysautonomia conferences so that she can better educate and guide her patients through this complex process. Over the years, she has built an extensive network of EDS, HSD, and dysautonomia providers in the area and strongly values collaborating with her patients’ care teams.

Originally from the Philadelphia suburbs, Morgan is a devoted Philly sports fan. After graduating from Gettysburg College with a B.S. in Biology, she moved to Washington, DC and earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The George Washington University. Morgan enjoys powerlifting, gaming, and spending time with her Golden Retriever, Sunny.
